Minute Book for charities, research and policy teams
For patient charities, think tanks and academic researchers. Track how a topic is discussed across NHS boards and over time, and cite each passage in the style your work needs.
What you can do with it
- Search the papers of many boards at once, rather than one website at a time.
- See how often a topic comes up, year by year, with mentions over time in search.
- Read the coroners’ reports on a theme, and who each was sent to.
- Cite in OSCOLA, Harvard or Vancouver, or download references for Zotero, EndNote or Mendeley.
Searches to try
- "health inequalities"
How boards report on differences in health between groups and places.
- "learning disabilities" OR autism
Care for people with a learning disability or autistic people.
- "out of area placements"
Mental health patients placed in beds away from home.
- "waiting list"
Waiting lists, and what boards planned to do about them.
Searching is free, with no account. Results come from the papers we hold, and we don’t hold every organisation’s papers for every year. See which years we hold for each organisation.
What helps most
Citations ready to paste
Every result has Copy reference: a simple reference, or OSCOLA, Harvard or Vancouver, or a download for Zotero, EndNote or Mendeley. Each gives the page, the meeting date and the original’s address.
Watched phrases
Watch a phrase everywhere, in one nation or at one organisation. When new papers or coroners’ reports mention it, we email you the passage with a link to the source.
Coroners’ reports and the 56-day tracker
Prevention of Future Deaths reports from judiciary.uk, with who each was sent to. Recipients have 56 days to respond: for each one we show the deadline and whether a response is published on judiciary.uk.
Folders and notes
Save a passage at its page, or a whole document, with a private note. Download a folder’s references when you write up.
One account for your team
The Organisation plan puts colleagues on one account with one bill. Invite people by email, or let anyone with your email domain join. Share folders across the team.
